pro-AMLog is a low power, fanless, embedded system solution that monitors and records the vessel’s alarm monitoring system (AMS) serial or parallel ASCII printer output and securely hosts the recorded files over the vessel’s wired Ethernet or wireless (where available) LAN connection.

pro-AMLog integrates two independently powered microcomputer modules.

  1. The printer interfacing/data sniffing module supporting IEEE-1284 Centronics Compatibility Mode parallel and RS-232 serial interfaced printers without the need of extra interfaces.

  2. The server/data recording module which records all received lines and can retain locally at least 100 years of data on its default recording memory in timestamped delimited (TXT) text files and provides access controlled secure SHA-2 FTP service for remote file retrieval.
